This month’s Super Vermicomposter!
High Lakes Elementary School in Bend just received a grant through ReSource to Vermicompost. Wonder Worman spoke to the eager students about the benefits of composting. The students were able to see the worms up close with the "worm viewer" and ask many questions. They have a temporary indoor bin. When the warmer weather arrives, Wonder Worman will deliver her Super Composting Outdoor Bins. Cheers to High Lakes.
Super Composters from Past Months
LaPine Middle School and Tumalo Community School have joined Wonder Worman in the quest to reduce usable waste that would have normally been put in the landfill. Thanks to the resourceful people over at ReSource, both schools were granted the resources to start their own Red Wiggling adventures! Wonder Worman delivered 3 of her Wonder Worman Worm Bin packages to Lapine Middle School and 5 pounds of Super Composting Red Wigglers to Tumalo Community School. Both schools will be measuring their waste to determine how much they will be saving from the landfill. Wonder Worman will be providing support during their Red Wiggler endeavors by monitoring the bins and answering any questions that may arise.
Highland Elementary Magnet School recently purchased a Wonder Worman Worm Bin package. They too will be learning about the benefits of composting! Much thanks for their purchase.
